| This morning we had a ginormous crashing, banging storm. After lunch the kids asked to play outside. Yes! Yes! I needed a break from them. Yes! I was so relieved they picked something to do I could actually say "Yes" to. Sadly and not surprisingly, it didn't last too long (maybe 5 minutes)...I ended up locking them outside so I could get Thea cleaned up from lunch, change her poopy diaper and change one load of laundry. Then...I dried them all off, wrangled underwear (and diaper) on them and attempted naptime. Only two of the four kids slept and for only 45 minutes today. That's okay; At least I didn't have anything to get done today -- accept clean and pack for a week away. | |
