Retro Soul Songbird

Two days ago I found a young Welsh singer Aimee-Ann Duffy. Since then I've been listening to the same two songs every few hours during my work-day. Wonderful -- like a sweet tiny piece of really dark chocolate. Her first album, Rockferry, was released this month. If you'd like to see more of her, she has a myspace site: http://www.myspace.com/duffymyspace and a general website: http://www.iamduffy.com/index2.html

He is Risen! He is Risen Indeed!

We drove down Friday afternoon in a swirling snowstorm to celebrate Easter weekend with my folks. The boys were wonderful in the car. Here is Grandpa reading with Atticus.

Brad's been working so hard the last few weeks: at work and at home: Catching up on some sleep.

We took a giant Kinex windmill apart -- Jonathan and Robyn had built it a month or so ago. Brad and I enjoyed de-constructing it and separating the parts into Ziploc bags.

We had a lovely breakfast at Potosi Bible Church. My dad preached Philippians 3:17-21 "Living with the Future in View." It segued with 1 Corinthians 15 one of my favorite Easter chapters and 1 Peter 1:3 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." A LIVING HOPE!
