Pancake Breakfast

I didn't take any pictures at all -- nary a one. Nevertheless it is worth noting that the Prison Ministry Pancake Breakfast at church (the brainchild of my husband) was a success: The prison program choir sang just wonderfully simple and rich acapella praise spirituals. The pancakes were delicious and the a nice crowd showed up to enjoy each other and thank God for all that He has done in these former prisoners, now our brothers-in-Christ. Brad's parents drove up from Des Moines just for one day to help with the breakfast -- Brad's dad, Tom, is a pro at such breakfasts from many years of helping with the Kiwanis. We loved seeing them and Brad appreciated the help so very much.
