Lincoln Carver Johannsen!

Lincoln Carver Johannsen
was born Tuesday March 17th St.Patrick's Day at 5:20 pm.
He weighed 7 lbs. 8 oz. and was 21 inches long.

My sister Bekah brought the boys in at 7 pm that same evening (before we had even moved into our regular room) to meet their new brother.

Our nurse Nikki and my sister -- yay for both of them!!

Brad went home with Bekah and the boys that night to help get and keep them asleep. The next morning Brad let Bekah sleep in and brought the boys in to visit until lunch time. They both are so sweet and gentle with Lincoln. They love holding him.

My mom (who arrived with my dad at lunchtime on Wednesday) and my sister came back to visit that afternoon.

My dear friend Leah came the same time. She's been the only person to visit all three of my sons in the hospital when they were born -- Isn't that a cool friend!?

We're so happy for your sweet, growing family! Baby Lincoln is beautiful...looks like his big brothers. Judah's already a month old...hard to believe how quickly it goes by. You look too good to have just given birth...guess it's the joy of motherhood!

I was excited to hear the news of Lincoln's arrival- congrats to all of you! It's amazing how fast your house is growing, with boys! We look forward to seeing you guys again this summer and meeting the two newest. We pray you are finding the energy you need in these first days and enjoying your sons.

Man - seeing all of those pictures. Your newest arrival. Cupcake-face Dietrich. Boys in a basket. Just makes me want to come home NOW and hang out with you all. To eat with you. And drink wine. And talk about music and books and the funny things that kids do. We miss you guys. 4 months and counting.

So it's official? You and Brad aren't capable of producing anything but adorable children? That's cool. Leave the ugly babies for other people.

Wow. I actually did just type that and post it on the internet, huh? :)

Can't wait to meet lil' Lincoln in person. See you all tomorrow!!
