Because some of you asked...In January Brad came home with this paper bag of "stuff". Our task was to make something -- anything with them to bring with us to the fancy work dinner later in January. We were a good team albeit very different in our approaches. I think there is definitely something to be said for structurally planning ahead but I still can't help experimentally "jumping in" and "winging it" (har.) So there were over 40 entries, and 3 top prizes, 2 honorable mentions. We received one of the honorable mentions. Aren't we so cool? (and humble)

This was my favorite -- a marionette horse.
This excellent piece of workmanship won 2nd prize (first prize was missing from the table, as was Brad's favorite: all of the stuff floating randomly frozen in a block of ice).
