Prince Lincoln

Boo!

Our sweet friends, Jenna & Ruth, came by Halloween night to see the boys in their costumes, bring us ghost & pumpkin rice-krispie treats, & to share their ghost costume with us. Festive!

Two Maxes & Their Wild Monkey

This year Atticus wanted all three of the boys to be Max from Where the Wild Things Are but I couldn't find the costumes anywhere, so I modified a DIY tutorial my sister found on-line to make them. I couldn't get the hands and feet done nor Lincoln's, but the Atticus liked them anyway -- though he had decided he'd rather be a robot or a soldier after I already started the Max costume. (I might make him those costumes for a Christmas gift since he asked about them a couple times a day for three weeks. A robot costume would be fun to make.) Dietrich tolerated the jumpsuit and loved the crown. I used Dietrich's monkey costume from last year on Lincoln.

Monsters, Pirates, Pencils & Cake Too

Last Thursday Brad's Aunt Caryl & Uncle Leigh came to visit. They are so good with the boys and always bring fun gifts and something delicious to eat. This time they brought a neat book about how pencils are made and some fun-to-color masks and a mousse-y chocolate cake.

(Blurry but to show that Lincoln was part of things (-:)
